Alcove is a class of high strength and light weight precast panels, made with concrete and layer of 3-dimensional glass fibers. Alcove falls into the category of GFRC /GRC produts; that have been used all around the world in most iconic projects.
Material - Fabrication - Application
Alcove panels are casted in molds, with special blend of OPC cement, fine graded sand, weather resistant pigments, surface control additives, self curing additive, and several other reheology modifiers. One of they key elements is the incorporation of specialty glass fibers, which is specifically manufcatured for GFRC panels.
Alcove panels are installed using conventional methods of tile and stone fixing; that is, wither with drybond or mechanical fasteners, depending on the nature of project.
3D forms
Alcove panels can be casted into 3D forms and shapes, with great flexibility of panel thickness, shape, and surface textures.
